How Single Pump Cementing Unit works
A single pump cementing unit places one triplex pump, drive train and the required mixing and displacement equipment into a coordinated service package. The arrangement is suited to operations where one pressure pumping line meets the planned rate and duty, subject to the client's operating procedure. Driver, transmission and control systems are selected to the requested pressure and flow envelope.
One pressure pump train for the treatment plan
A single pump unit is configured from the required maximum pressure, flow rate, fluid end, power and duty duration. The package may coordinate a mixing system, displacement tank, high-pressure iron interface and recording instruments according to scope. If operational redundancy is required, it should be identified separately rather than assumed from a single train. The equipment layout should allow maintenance access to the pump, valves and fluid handling connections.
Developed for the operating duty
Typical applications
- Cementing operations with a single pumping train
- Mobile or skid mounted field service
- Projects with defined mixing and displacement scope
Inputs for engineering
- Treating rate and maximum discharge pressure
- Slurry recipe and displacement volume
- Preferred engine, triplex pump and controls
What the package can include
- Triplex pump, engine and transmission; make/model subject to offer
- Centrifugal circulation, mixing and displacement tank
- Hydraulic controls, gauges, emergency stop and FAT
Final sizes, material grades, pressure classes, makes, testing and documentation are specified in the approved technical offer. We coordinate applicable design, fabrication, inspection and quality records against the project requirements.
Can CAT or Cummins engines be considered?
Engine options can be evaluated against the required power, emission and support requirements; the offer states the selected model.
