How Cementing Unit Package works
A cementing package groups the pressure pumping and slurry preparation equipment needed for the agreed well servicing operation. The scope may combine a cementing unit, batch mixer, displacement tank, piping and operator controls. Interface definition is important so equipment capacities, power and control signals work together at site.
A coordinated servicing spread
An integrated cementing package is specified by the full treating schedule, not the pump rating alone. Slurry preparation, liquid storage, high-pressure pumping, displacement and operator controls must match in capacity and sequence. Equipment can be arranged across a skid or mobile spread according to transport and access limits. The interface list should identify hose or iron connections, power and fuel, instrumentation signals and which auxiliary items are included in the supply.
Developed for the operating duty
Typical applications
- Well cementing service packages
- Integrated mixing and pressure pumping
- Skid or mobile spread coordination
Inputs for engineering
- Treating schedule, target rate and pressure
- Slurry recipe, mixing and storage requirements
- Equipment boundaries and transport arrangement
What the package can include
- Single or dual pump cementing unit options
- Batch mixer and auxiliary piping as specified
- Package GA, interface list, FAT and documentation
Final sizes, material grades, pressure classes, makes, testing and documentation are specified in the approved technical offer. We coordinate applicable design, fabrication, inspection and quality records against the project requirements.
Can a batch mixer be included?
Yes, a batch mixer can be integrated when its capacity and mixing cycle match the pumping plan.
