How Cementing Unit works
A cementing unit coordinates high pressure triplex pumping with the mixing, circulation, displacement and control functions needed for a well cementing operation. Single and dual pump arrangements are developed from required rate, pressure and redundancy. The engine, transmission, centrifugal pumps, hydraulic system and operator station are selected as one package.
Coordinating mixing and high-pressure delivery
A cementing unit brings together slurry preparation, pressure pumping, liquid tanks and operator controls according to the treating schedule. Pump rate and discharge pressure are evaluated alongside slurry density, fluid end selection and available power. The suction path, recirculation and changeover sequence affect job continuity. Supply the planned volume, stages, maximum treating pressure and any mobile mounting limits so the equipment scope can be configured around the job.
Developed for the operating duty
Typical applications
- Primary and remedial well cementing
- Well servicing pressure pumping
- Skid or mobile cementing packages
Inputs for engineering
- Pump rate, maximum treating pressure and duty cycle
- Slurry density, mixing volume and displacement needs
- Engine preference, control philosophy and mobility
What the package can include
- Single or dual triplex pump arrangement
- Mixing and displacement tanks, centrifugal pumps and manifold
- Powertrain, operator panel, instrumentation and FAT
Final sizes, material grades, pressure classes, makes, testing and documentation are specified in the approved technical offer. We coordinate applicable design, fabrication, inspection and quality records against the project requirements.
Do you offer single and dual pump units?
Both arrangements can be evaluated, with final pump size, engine and controls defined in the technical proposal.
